Gabrielle Teddy Ment

program director, co-camp director, show creation/performer

Teddy began her circus journey in 2007 with the Amazing Grace Circus youth troupe in Nyack, NY, where she developed a foundation in aerials, clowning and various circus disciplines. In 2012, she began studying at the New England Center for Circus Arts, graduating from their Intensive Professional Training Program in 2014. Since then, Teddy has performed across the U.S., from New England to California. She is one half of the trapeze duo DuET with Eleanor Getz. When she’s not upside-down from her toes, you may find her dancing with friends, playing in the ocean or communing with plants. In 2018, she earned a double degree in Environmental Studies and Dance from Oberlin College. Gabrielle is passionate about bringing community together, using circus as a tool to create social change, creating new shows, and expanding Payomet’s Cirque by the Sea programming for the 12th year in a row.

Eleanor Getz

show writer/director, co-camp director, show creation/performer

Eleanor began her movement training at Canyon Concert Ballet in Fort Collins, Colorado, where she became a company member in 2007. She holds a BFA in Modern Dance and Choreography from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) in Richmond, Virginia. Eleanor completed the Frequent Flyers Aerial Dance Professional Training Program in Boulder, Colorado, earning a certification in aerial dance performance. Following that, she completed both the Intensive Year Program and the Professional Track program at the New England Center for Circus Arts (NECCA), in Brattleboro, Vermont. Eleanor is one half of the acrobatic performing duo, DuET. She currently specializes in performing and teaching aerials.

Trevor Pearson

show creation/performer, instructor, juggling, object manipulation

Treavor grew up on Cape Cod, where he learned to juggle and perform. In 2007, Trevor earned a BA in Music at Clark University and began a dual career as musician and juggler. Trevor has taught juggling for about 17 years (often with Payomet) at many Cape Cod schools, rec programs, and senior centers. Off-Cape, Trevor has led juggling and object manipulation workshops for Oberlin College, Tufts University, Rochester Institute of Technology, Wildfire Retreat, ESH and Circus Up in Boston, The Gym Dandies in Maine, Texas Juggling Society, and Sky Candy in Austin. He also performs juggling with Boston Circus Guild and Extraordinary Arts agency and as a musician with the band Woof Woof Meow. Trevor is a proud host of Payomet’s Juggle Jams, a multigenerational gathering for sharing juggling!

Copper Santiago

Copper is a native New Yorker who lives full time on Cape Cod. She has lived and performed on both sides of the Atlantic ocean, upside down and right side up. Copper is also a visual artist and has a BFA in socially engaged art from Goddard College. A graduate of both the New England Center for Circus Arts and the Circadiam School for Contemporary Circus, Copper is highly trained in both the technical aspects of circus as well as its artistic growth edge. Her cat also does circus tricks!

Sophie Wheeler

technical direction

Sophie is excited to return to Cirque by the Sea this year! Originally from Maine, she graduated from Bates College in 2025 with a double-major BA in Theater Directing and Rhetoric, Film, and Screen Studies. She has experience in all areas of theater tech at Bates College, Harbor Stage, and Provincetown Theater. Sophie will continue developing her foundation of theatrical knowledge as a full-time apprentice at Portland Stage for their 2026-2027 season.. Outside of the performing arts, she enjoys swimming in various bodies of water, watercolor painting, and reading all sorts of literature. She is thrilled to be a part of this creative team working to make educational, inspirational art for social change.

Bryant Marshall

performer, puppeteer

Bryant is thrilled to be joining Payomet’s Cirque by the Sea for its 2026 season. Recent credits include Ambrose in Hello, Dolly! at the Academy Playhouse in Orleans, Tiny Tim in A Christmas Carol at The Provincetown Theater, and Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer in The Provincetown Theater’s Townie Holiday Extravaganza. This past winter, he explored the physicality of pigeons in The Provincetown Theater’s 24 Hour Play Festival and worked with puppetry in Kazz Felix’s reading of Murphy Cracks the Case. In college he was drawn to the works of Shakespeare and the Stanislavski system. As a multi-hyphenate performance artist, Bryant loves any opportunity to perform, connect, and tell stories across a variety of forms.
