Payomet Cirque by the Sea Circus show Sandman
For 2020, Payomet’s Cirque by the Sea is presenting Sandman - an original circus show at the Payomet Drive-in Live!

Payomet's Cirque by the Sea team of professional circus artists are back to play the Ballfield and present Sandman: Drive-In Live Cirque Show, an original production featuring Teddy Ment, Eleanor Getz and Trevor Pearson, with special accompaniment of live music by Roberto Acosta on piano. In this multidisciplinary circus theatre show, two sisters are paid a visit from the Sandman, a mythical character known to sprinkle sand in children’s eyes to inspire beautiful dreams.

Drive in Circus shows are 45-60 minutes long. We are limited to 100 people - including performers and staff - so get your tickets early!

2020 CIRCUS ARTS CLASSES have been cancelled.

In any other year, our Cirque team would be instructing an incredibly fun circus camp for kids of all ages during the summer. We usually also offer workshops for all ages and educational programs for local schools throughout the year. We look forward to our 2021 season when we can again lift the Payomet Big Top Tent. You can be sure our team of circus professionals are already designing our future Cirque shows and classes. Stay tuned!

Circus class for Tots

Ages 3 - 6

Tots Circus Class

A great way to explore and refine fine motor skills is with a circus taster class. Tots and adults together experience a blend of juggling, acrobatics and aerials. This class is a great intro to the circus arts as well as a fun and supportive environment to hone in important developmental skills such as coordination, balance, teamwork, following instructions and more.

Parents stay with children and participate together, 1 child per parent recommended for class.

Payomet Circus Camp

Ages 7 - 14

Circus Camp

Circus Camp classes over a six-week period for students, ages 7-14. Our core program runs four days a week (Mon-Thur). Every week will include aerial arts, acrobatics, juggling, mini-trampoline, physical comedy, improv, object manipulation, rope climbing and physical training geared to the level of each individual student.

Upon enrollment, students will be placed by instructors in 1 of 2 different levels of class, designed to provide the best experience for each student based on their current skill level.

Aerial Classes for Adults and Teens

Ages 15 - 95

Aerial Classes for Teens & Adults

For anyone 15+ who wants to try aerials, such as silks, trapeze, or lyra. No experience is necessary, but you should be able to comfortably support your own weight when holding a pull up bar (don’t worry if you can’t do pull-ups...yet!).

And if you have done aerials before, we will gear instruction to your level. Come to any one class or more. Purchase now to ensure a spot! Limited to 6 students per session.

“My son never used to rush out of the house – to anything. Now he does...to the car every time I take him to circus camp. It’s been a real growth thing for him.”

“As early as age ten, my daughter would talk about when she would be going college. Now all she talks about is joining the circus.”
