Payomet and Truro Connections present a free film screening Wed, Sept 12 at 7:00PM
Oceans are a sonic symphony. Sound is essential to the survival and prosperity of marine life. But man-made ocean noise is threatening this fragile world.
Sonic Sea is about protecting life in our waters from the destructive effects of oceanic noise pollution.
Sonic Sea will be shown at Payomet Performing Arts Center, Wednesday, September 12th at 7:00pm, with a Q&A after with cast member, Christopher W. Clark, Ph.D. Mr. Clark is the Imogene Powers Johnson Senior Scientist at the Bioacoustics Research Program, Cornell Lab of Ornithology.  This event is free of charge.
