Payomet News

With full awareness of current events and a heavy heart, we must inform you that off season Payomet events between March 15th and May 22nd will be cancelled or postponed. We care deeply about minimizing the spreading of the virus in our community.

Payomet Performing Arts CenterThe following shows are postponed:

  • Dom Flemons - March 27, 28, 29 - plus three music workshops and local school concerts in Provincetown, Truro and Harwich.

  • Donate: Convert your ticket purchase to a tax-deductible donation to Payomet – which would be very welcome in these unusual times.

With hopes for better times ahead, we are planning to open our beautiful tent as scheduled on Saturday, May 23 of Memorial Day weekend with our most creative season yet. We have the added ability to increase personal space and air flow by opening sidewalls and changing seating configurations, keeping us flexible for any changing conditions.

We will continue to roll out our 2020 Summer Season in the weeks to come as we are more focused than ever on our mission to bring you the best in music, circus theater and Early Stages morning events. With our flexible ticketing policies, each ticket you purchase is like a gift certificate you can to convert at any time into one of the above options if it is still unsafe to put on a show...and it will give us much needed support. You can also purchase a gift card online at any time to help us through these difficult times.

Communication is paramount. We want you to know that we are working hard to understand and put into practice all that we learn about prevention of the spread of COVID-19. We will keep you informed every step of the way and we welcome your feedback.

But mostly, we wish good health and peace to you all. Thank you for your support, past present and future.

All the best, fingers crossed,

Kevin Rice
