Payomet Presents Hopper's Ghosts at the Provincetown Theater

Written by Payomet Artistic Director Kevin Rice, this play enjoyed sold-out performances during its two previous (2010 and 2011) runs in North Truro.  The current production is staged at the gorgeous Provincetown Theater in time for the Hoppermania sweeping the Outer Cape and occasioned by the huge Hopper Show at Provincetown Art Association and Museum.

The current staging is directed by Margaret Van Sant and features Gail Phaneuf as Jo Hopper and Robin Bloodworth* as Edward Hopper.  The set is the creation of Tony-award winning designer Tony Straiges, who created sets for 17 Broadway musicals.

Hopper's Ghosts is a delicious slice of Afterlife twisting and turning around the tortured and often comical relationship between one of America's best-known artist couples, Edward and Jo Hopper, as imagined by playwright Rice.
